EPoX EP-9U1697-GLi Motherboard Review

Today we will be looking at the EPoX EP-9U1697-GLi motherboard. This board is EPoX’s first board to use the new M1697 chipset from ULi. Take a first look at this motherboard with us, as we determine how it fits into a market already filled with mid-priced socket 939 motherboards.

When this motherboard arrived, I was quite eager to try it out against the Biostar motherboard I was using in my system. I wanted to see what advantages, if any, the ULi chipset could provide over the nForce4 chipset on my Biostar.
