Samsung has addressed some of the issues, such as the sub-par battery life, that plagued the original BlackJack. The new BlackJack sports a beefier 1700 mAh battery that is rated for seven hours of talk time and 14 hours of standby. The upgraded battery is just one of the nice new features of the BlackJack II; others include: a new scroll wheel that doubles as a D-pad a redesigned full QWERTY keyboard with slightly larger keys for easier typing 2 megapixel camera (compared to 1.3 MP in the original BlackJack) New video sharing feature This Samsung smart phone is relatively affordable at $149 ($74.99 online price with rebate) with a two-year service agreement with AT&T (as of 12/2007). This price isn't bad when you consider that you are getting a phone with 3G support, built-in TeleNav GPS, music and video support, email and messaging client, Windows Mobile 6, and Bluetooth. This is a short list of the features in the new Samsung BlackJack II, which should prove to be a highly successful smart phone in an ultra-competitive market.
